Talk and workshop bundle.

Session One - Talk (5 July 2019, Friday)

The first session will be an introduction of the basics to storytelling. Various examples will be shown to participants to explain the process of coming up with an illustrated story. Participants will be each given two visual/idea prompts to come up with one sketch/illustration by the end of the session.

Session Two - Workshop (6 July 2019, Saturday)

The second session will allow the participants to have hands-on experience in coming up with a story on their own. Using the one sketch/illustration that they have done during the earlier session, the participants will be taught a visual linking method to make up a short, illustrated story.

This course is suitable for beginner writer-artists or illustrators who would like to enhance their skills. It is ideal for those who have always wanted to work on a short illustrated story or have a basic idea but are uncertain how to start. Participants should have basic skills in illustration.
