WHAT YOU”LL GET

Internet and web technologies have evolved tremendously in the last five years, and today, we live in what Internet technologists call a Web 2.0 era. Web 2.0 technologies and services provide educators and learners with new and cost effective ways to work, search and manage content, access specialised communities and resources, and create content.

This workshop aims to explore the development of these technologies with a view to helping educators to realise the potential of the Internet to deliver better education and learning experiences. The workshop will also feature some of the information literacy skills needed by a 21st century learner.
