Cooperative learning is different from competitive or individualistic learning. Through cooperative learning, students learn how they can as a member of a group or team use their knowledge and skills to ensure their group’s success, thereby ensuring their own success in any task or subject. Students work cooperatively together to maximise their own and each other’s learning. Participants in this workshop will take on the role of students and teachers and learn via interactive methods, how to apply cooperative learning strategies in the classroom.
