Science Fiction is a genre with infinite boundaries where anything can happen in the story.
In this workshop, budding Science Fiction writers ( aged 11 - 19 years old) will be guided on the mechanics of writing a good story. A good story is dependent on:
- Memorable characters
- Vivid setting/world
- Plausible plots
The workshop will cover topics ranging from basic concepts and approaches, creation of 'worlds', the hero’s journey and story creation.
Participants will start work on a rough draft and receive feedback from 2011, 2007 Golden Point Award winner Hassan Hasaa’Ree Ali who will guide you through the steps in this 3 hour workshop.
