Her second book, a mystery entitled Double Take was shortlisted for the Scholastic Asia Book Award and received a runner-up commendation. Prior to writing fulltime, Katherine worked as a contributing writer for The Edge Singapore, a financial weekly. She also writes and edits occasional pieces for her church magazine, Uphill.
